Q1Do I need my own suit for the photo shoot?

4 sets of European style suits and white leather shoes are provided for the grooms-to-be. Please bring your own socks in black and white as well as dark leather shoes. You can also bring your own suits, shirts, ties, and jeans to create different looks.

Q2 I wear glasses. Will that affect the photo shoot?

It is recommended that you prepare a pair of glasses without lenses, as lenses cause reflection, or simply wear contact lenses. We have a variety of frames for you to choose from if you do not have you own.
 

Q3What happens if it rains during the shoot? Will there be additional charges to shoot on a different day?

There will be no additional charges for shooting on a different day due to raining. Photo shoots will continue if it is just drizzling, otherwise the shoot can move to a coffee shop or onto another day with no additional charges.

Q4Which locations are available for outdoor shooting? Will there be additional charges for shooting at
  other cities?

Locations for outdoor shootings are not limited, but should be in principle feasible within one working day for Taoyuan county and city. Discuss an itinerary with the photographer beforehand to choose the locations for shooting along the route around Taoyuan county and city. For other cities, quotes will be given based on the distance.

Q5What is the percentage of photographs shot in the studio and those shot outdoor?

The percentage can be communicated with the photographer and determined based on personal preferences.

Q6Does the photographer shoot only one couple on the day? How many pictures will be available
  for selection?

Photographer will shoot one couple on the day and determine the number of pictures taken. For instance, 30 set of pictures at 18 inches each. Clients will have at least 150 pictures from the day to choose from.

Q7How many dress styles are allowed for shooting in the studio and outdoor? Is it possible to have
  more or even all photos taken outdoor?

This can be discussed with the photographer, but weather condition will be a key determinant.

Q8Are there additional charges for outdoor shooting? For instance, commuting charges and
  admission fees.

You need to arrange your own transportation for outdoor shoots. Rental car is available at a minimal spending charge of NT$ 300/ hour (NT$1,800/ 5 hours + driver). Rental charges for outside of Taoyuan is available at request.

 

Outdoor shooting locations, such as certain coffee shops have a minimal spending, and the Flower Farm in Tatun also has an admission charge of NT$ 500.

Q9Is it possible to divide the outdoor shoot into 2 day? Will there be additional charges?

If the shoot is disrupted due to personal reason and not forces of nature, and must be continued on a different day, then an additional NT$6,000 will be charged for crew and make-up artist fees.

 

No charges will be incurred for cancellation within 2 days due to weather condition.

Q10 Can I have my pet(s) in the shoot as well?

Yes, as long as you have already discussed this with your photographer.

Q11 How much time is needed for the photo shoot?

About 8 – 10 hours.

Q12 Which photography equipment is used? How many pixels? Will it be any less in quality
   when compared with traditional photography especially after enlargement?

Cathleen Wedding Boutique uses a variety of digital cameras. The type of camera used is dependent on the photographer. Photographers might also use different cameras depend on the occasion. The pixels of the cameras range from 10 megapixels to 13 megapixels. Photographers might also choose the equipment based on the condition of the studio or individual needs.

 

The quality of digital photography has far surpassed that of traditional cameras, and all enlarged pictures have been digitally processed to ensure excellent resolution. Take the usual enlargement size of 30 x 40 inches for wedding photos, the output resolution is very good.

Q13 Can I have an extra set of dress during the shoot?

Usually the set of dresses provided within a photo shoot package will be sufficient, and addition is not recommended. If additional set of dress is required, then extra charges apply.

Q14 Are there additional charges for outdoor shooting? For instance, commuting charges and
  admission fees.

No additional charges will be incurred besides the crew’s vehicle. Photographers will not, in principle, suggest locations that charge for admission. If the locations that you requested charge for admission, then you will be responsible for the fees.

Q15 What happens when the selected photographer becomes unavailable for shooting?

Once a photographer has confirmed your appointment, then no other arrangements will be made. However, you will be consulted in case of emergency.

Q16. What do I need to prepare before the shooting?

1. Please make sure you do not stay up too late the night before the shooting, and do not drink too much water to avoid puffiness around the eyes. Make sure you maintain a happy and romantic mood. (This is very important!)

 

2. If the groom-to-be’s hair is too long, please get a hair cut or trim a week before the shooting.

 

3. Please ensure the trimming and removing of body and facial hair. Polish your leather shoes and stay in touch with our staff.

 

4. Please wash your hair the day before the shooting. No hair oil or styling products are required.

 

5. On the day of the shoot - Brides-to-be: 1. please wear invisible bra, 2. please wear a button-down shirt, 3. please wear flats and carry light colour high heels and stockings.

 

Grooms-to-be: 1. please carry dark leather shoes and a pair of black socks and white socks each, 2. you can bring two sets of your favourite suits or casual wear (jeans, ties, belts, and accessories), and the photographer will assist you in getting ready for the shoot.

 

6. If you wear glasses, please prepare your own contact lenses or lens-free frames to avoid light reflection.

 

7. Please remember to have breakfast before applying make-up to maintain your energy.

 

8. Please do not invite relatives or friends or bring your own cameras on the day of the shoot to avoid disruption.

 

9. Please pay upfront the charges on the day of the shoot. The fees can be handed over to the staff first to avoid any inconvenience.

 

10. Certain shooting locations might require mountain drive, it is therefore recommended that you bring with you pills for car sickness just in case to avoid any disruption.

 

11. Smiles are very important to the outcome of the pictures, so just enjoy yourself during the shooting.

Q17. If I am not satisfied with the result, under what circumstances can I request a re-shoot?

For conventional wedding photo shops, dissatisfaction with pictures is mostly due to poor communication. Cathleen Wedding Boutique goes through every detail thoroughly, such situation therefore is unlike to happen. Our quality guarantee to you is that after communication with your photographer and having completed the shooting, if you discover the photos do not meet your requirement, you may request a free re-shoot.

The photo files given to you are carefully chosen by you.
